I think, us as the consumer should more of a demand for 2 strokes so there forced to produce 2 strokes. Boycott 4 strokes.

i don't care how much u boycott 4-strokes, here in cali it will never work. the environmentalists have brainwashed everybody who's opinion counts to beleive that 2-strokes destroy the environment. kinda like how the sierra club got 90% of the original pismo dunes closed, and claimed that some kind of fish uses the stream for mating. there's no fish in that stream, there's no fish that could survive in that salt/fresh water mix. kinda like how a properly jetted 2-stroke doesn't smoke (long as the fuel is mixed right). u ever see an improperly jetted 4-stroke? they can smoke too. the environmentalists only care about the plants. they would rather live in a 4'x4' cell than see somebody ride a quad through a forest. i wish they could be realistic, like saying that instead of banning 2-strokes for the summer, how bout they put some restrictions on them? i dunno if that would work, but it's an idea.

 

or they could just leave us all alone and worry about world peace...i have a feeling WW3 will come and destroy civilization before the 2-strokes kill all the plants.

 

y dont they just go after the intustial plants? one plant makes more polution than all the quads that can be at pismo or anyother dune combined

 

beech...i have to agree. with us invading every country that we don't like, and Russia bombing all the terrorist bases in it's satellite countries, WW3 is on its way. and who knows, maybe it'll be avoided because one of the white house reps rode in on a 2-stroke quad and had the answer to all of the problems and knew how to avoid war forever. it could happen...

are you an idiot, banshee's are one of the hardest things in the dunes, you gotta keep the revs up HIGH and do alot of clutch work especially when tryin to climb a hill

 

i beleive the claimed dry weight of a banshee is like 375 lbs, at least from what i've heard. if that's true then it's not lighter than the yfz.

 

yea the YFZ is about 350 stock, and if you get the kick you can take off some pounds and itll just about as light as a blaster, but over 35 hp... sounds fun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
