Default 295 big bore 87 tecate powervalve motor?

how well do you think this set up will work for flat track racing: 87 trx250x frame with 400ex a-arms, and 400ex shocks, with a 87 tecate 295 big bore powervlave motor, and the suspension will all be dropped to the floor.... its also got a durablue + 4 inch axle for that widened stance. i may widen the front even farther than the 400ex a-arms also. just tell me your thoughts of how this will do in a flattrack race?? thanx for all of your input.

For all that trouble you should just buy a tecate 4 or trx 250r and be done with it.

wat kind of trouble... its not a hard modification to do... tecates are some of the worste handling atv's out there, and hard to find parts for to make it handle good... and i'd end up paying a huge amount for a good shape 250r. i already have the tecate motor, and the 250x to do it, so please, think before you talk next time, b/c i can't afford a whole new atv. plus, a tecate motor will take a 250r motor for speed and power any day, especially b/c of the KIPS, not to mention this is already a 295 big bore, putting out around 50hp. i'd love a 250r chassis and a tecate motor, but i can't afford a 250r chassis!!! also, i'm only 16, so i'm pretty proud of myself for being able to do modifications like this with no help from an adult or parent, plus, i may be 16, but i know a lot more about ATVs than many of the adults on here do... no offense!!
