I just got done with my CR500 project and got her running and suspension set up just the way i like it now i want it to look good. Does anybody know of a powder coating shop near Pittsburgh PA. And if so how much am i looking at if i already sand blast everything. Ill be coating frame, tank, swing arm, a-arms, hubs and pipe. Thanks

 

Check your local yellow pages. And if you do all the prep work, you are looking at around $200 probably. Could be more or less depending on the powder you use and what the coater charges. I had my Harley frame and a few other parts powdercoated. I did the prep work on it and it cost $150

 

i can sandblast it myself what elese would i have to do to prep it

 

I would plug any holes that you dont want powdercoat to get into. Otherwise you will have to chase the threads.
