I have a 2000 Warrior.Last time i rejetted it i took the carb completely off the bike.Is it possible to rejet (main jet) with the carb on?

I have tried it both on & off & found it to be easier & quicker to remove it from the manifold bolts & air box boot, allowing it to be rotated enough to remove the bowl without disconnecting the throttle cable or cap.
