Like to know if anybody has done any engine swaps in their Suzuki quads? ...motors that fit really well...radical swaps...4 stroke to 2 stroke...horror stories...BIG roost...you know, things of this nature...
I have a Suzuki twin 500 2 stroke out of a street bike that I'm thinking of spicing up my lt250s quad sport with when it's motor passes away!

MAn I want that motor! THats exaclty what Im looking for my "deceased" 85 LT. I am lookijng from something fun to stick into my LT. I met a guy the other week and he has a 600+(not sure of the exact size) Rotax snowmobile motor in his LT. IT hauls butt. One of the fastest around for sure. Also, another guy, you may have heard of him, Danny 'O has a 750 h2 triple from a kawasaki street bike in his Quadzilla chassis. IT runs quite well as well!I have been told a 500 quadzilla motor will bolt into the lt250r chassis.

I'm still in the middle(well mabe close to the end) of a swap involving an xr350 r motor in an lt 250 frame.It was alot of work but it seems to run real well....at least it will if I can get the correct pilot jet size worked out. I put the motor a little far forward in the frame for a trail bike but I wanted it for a hillclimber so a heavy nose is a good thing.
