do I have to jet with an exhaust?
#1
i just wreaked my Raptor 350. i got a fractured tibula (knee), 2nd rib. and craked shoulder plate. so needless to say, i have some time on my hands. I thought that this would be a good time to do my first mod. my 04 raptor is completly stock at the moment and was thinking of going with a perfomance exhaust first. my question is do I need to get a new carb or intake or air filter as well? since i will have more flow coming out, do i NEED to have more going in? Will it damage anything if I don't do anything but replace the exhaust, will it be OK?

If you are flowing more out the exhaust, you will want to allow more flow INTO the motor also. You can do this by removing the airbox lid, and going to a high flow air filter.
After doing these things, you will need to re-jet to get the most power out of your motor.
Re-jetting will add back the required fuel since you will be flowing more air through the motor.
