street legal quad
i was wondering how hard it would be to make the quad street legal. Now i kno you cant because the rear wheels are locked but i was wonder if you could do this. I know the axle goes into the axle carrier with the bearings and is only held in on the left side by the bolts my question is could you cut the axle and put like two left halves of the axle into the carrier this would put lock nuts on both sides and make the tires turn at different speeds when needed. I know it wouldnt be good for off road because only the left tire would push the quad but it could be a start. let me know if i explained this bad and i will try to clear it up but does any one think my idea is possible see what driving on the way home and wishing you were on the quad not pulling the quad does. Mabye even you could have that axle and another one and switch soo you can ride street or offroad the axle takes 2 bolts the rear braek and chain to take on and off?
