Rear Shock changes and rear end swapping?
#3
This is a common problem on the banshees depending on rider weight. The stock banshee rear shock is set up from the factory for a rider weight greater than 200lbs. It is usually too stiff and doesn't use all the travel especially going through whoops. You can loosen up the pre-load by loosening the locknut above the spring and then reduce the spring tension by loosening the the adjustment directly above the spring. If loosening the pre-load doesn't help then you should get a softer spring and have the valving redone. This should let the shock work more in the bumps and not cause the rear end to bounce around as much.
