Trasher, I'm not sure I can get a wheelie out of this kitty. And besides, I think the back of the fender would kiss the ground before the rack did, and then I'd be back here looking for more advice - this time on how to get the ill-fitting fenders back on.

Well Resc... If I'd been 'messed up', I'd have wanted you there too. But luckily, it was mostly pride that got trashed. I'd just told my son not 5 minutes earlier that HE'D better watch it because I knew this road was really nasty. Shoulda been looking in the mirror huh...

Anyway, all's well that ends well. Bike looks good as new, 'cept for the necessary dust that seperates it from some showroom model... Ha.

i have to words for u on how to get it off. hack saw.hehehehehehehehe. that is if you ever have trouble with the raskal again. good job on geting off though.

 

A good set of visegrips usually works if you have the room to get them in there. Also if you have the means you can weld a new nut onto the rounded bolt.
