Just wondering, what would it cost to make a 400 EX a stroker?

Another alternative to makin it a stroker is to install a big bore kit. heres a site about one buildup. http://www.off-road.com/atv/projects/400ex/tudors/ try that out.

I guess I forgot part: CT Racing 440 kit, 11:5 to 1 Ross piston, Stage 1 Webcam, and rev box.

It was about $800 from web. That is the price of my engine builder tearing it down, mailing it to them, stroking it 4mil over, and my guy puting it back in. I say it was the best thing I've ever done. It has more torque than we guessed it would. I wear thru grips in like four rides. However the engine is a little slower now because the crank is spinning a bigger circle. You can make that up in gearing, though.

There is a 7mil stoker offered somewhere else. I am looking for another crank, cuz I want the bigger one.

I read that stage 1 cam's don't work well with overbores. Stage 2 are better for overbore apparently.
