Would it be possible to install a Turbo Kit on My 570 Stroker banshee even though I have nitrous?? I mainly drag race at Comp Hill in Glamis! If you have any info on this it would sure help. With the turbo kit i would have close to 250 hp. Oh and Roost king if you read this I raced the Polaris beast with 300hp. Ate him up off the line but were neck and neck toward the mid of the hill but he won by two bike lengths at the top! One fast toy. Big and ugly though!

Thats really cool you raced that BEAST. That thing looks tough. How was the owner on the machine (good rider)? Also do you have any pictures of yoru fine looking banshee or raptor, or EX?

I think I may have seen you guys race! I agree that "Beast" is a beast in the power dept, but darn big and ugly. But hey, it can deliver the goods, as does your banshee! What color is your Banshee by the way, I may have some pics of you if your interested...

Roostking...

I don't think NOS and Turbo will fit together.
How many HP do you have without NOS?
Sweet machine.

I know on a car with a turbo the NOS actually improves the efficiency of the turbo by acting as an intercooler. It all comes down to if the motor is physically capable of dealing with all that stress.

First of all, Zorro, why whould nitrous and a turbo not work? Nitrous Oxide actually improves the efficiency of the turbo and can raise the boost considerably. In response to the original post... yes, if you have in-frame pipes you could certainly put a turbo system on a 570; however, it is difficult to say for how long the engine would hold together.

The boys at HiPer turbo charged a 580 motor. It riped for a while, I seen it run 3.8's in 100 yards
but the hp was too much for the stroker crank. I dont know if they ever got it to last or not. We have planed to run NOS on our tubo but never got a round to it. It should help it spool up.

The shot of NO may help with the initial launch until the turbo(--turbo lag) is able to begin making decent boost.

I'm leary of spinning alot of RPM's with that much stroke(it's +10mm right?). You'll easily exceed the limits that it could take and you'll be buying alot of expensive billet stroker cranks....Piston acceleration will be high. Short length drag engines can take this, but good fresh components are required and required to be changed often as well....

A different fuel blend may help...methanol with nitromethane mixed as a percentage will make good power as well. The nitromethane oxygenates the mix. Methanol will easily get you 10% more(15% likely), with nitro blended in, 20% increase is a very reasonable estimate.
