Default Tire Size

Planning on buying new Mudzilla tires for my 03' Rincon. Noticed the front tires are smaller 25x8x12 versus the 25x10x12 in the back. I assume this for steering. Does anyone recommend I go to a different size thats on there now? Can I go with all 4 the same?? Thanks in advance for the help!!

you can, but it is real hard on the stering componants, because of the extra wieght of the bigger fronts. id just go same size or with a bigger diamiter.

Forget the steering problems and think about changing damaged gears in your front or rear diff. When changing tires, if you are going larger or smaller, you have to keep the tire size difference the same from front to back. The reason being is that it changes your gearing and the tires size difference is matched to the gearing in your diffs and tranny. If you go with the same size of tires you will have drivetrain bind and start to break thing.

Changing the tire width wont singificantly impact the drivetrain, changing diameter from front to back would.

But if you go with a wider tire say 10" on a rim that is intended for a 8" rim you are going to have a larger side wall profile thus changing your tire diameter. To offset this you would have to go to a larger front rim to match the rear. The cahnge may not be significant but the risk IMO is to large to mess with.

If you are going to go for the same size tire front and rear, you should use the same width rim. Other than that I really dont see an issue.
