You have to do a lot more than that...
As you know quadduck, it has been done many times. I have not personally done it. The issue with a sled engined duner is cooling. They are fine for short drags, but it takes a lot more to keep them cool for any kind of real duning. It can and has been done, but not nearly as much as drag only machines. Good luck!

The first two photos on my photo page are of a Polaris powered by a twin Polaris sled motor. Local guy to the area. Said he was planning to throw a tripple in a frame soon.

I sure like them a lot. Swore I would never shift again, but the new TLD Predator with reverse or even a DS650 have been developing a itch that may need to be scratched.LOL A 240hp auto would scratch that itch pretty well too-lol.

quadduck, now-a-days most sleds are water cooled. Each manufacturer has fan cooled engines, but all the big engines are water cooled. By the way, I saw a snowmobile powered Banshee at the Novi expo center snowmobile show today. It was slick! You probably would have liked to have seen it!
