paint or dye plastic?

Default paint or dye plastic?

Does anyone if its possible to paint or dye atv plastic? I have Maier plastic and as everyone knows...its not quite the right color.

you can't usually just paint it..it will chip as the plastic bends or hits limbs and stuff...they have that paint that's called fusion which is made just for plastic but I heard people on here that have used it and it didn't work....The factories dye the plastic....now if you can redye it or not I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that it would be a pain in the butt. just my two cents though

There is plastic paint aviable. Don't use any normal metal or wood paint because it will chip off really easy. Once it chips it will peel off like crazy.

Thanks for the reply's. I guessed that paint wouldn't be the best choice, just wondered if anyone had any ideas. I'm trying to avoid replacing everything with stock Suzuki plastic. I bet a lot of you know what I'm talking about...

Maybe someone out there has had a unique experience that we could all benefit from?
