Default Jet Quad???

Hey guys, I have a 88 Kawasaki 550 jet ski motor... I want to stick it in a quad, and I need some help figuring out what im gonna do for a tranny.. any suggestions??? thanks

Why not make it a CVT like the snomo quads

Continuously Variable Transmission. Belt drives used in snomobiles and many atvs.

i would worry more about the cooling system if it was me

but a big cvt sounds nice

I guess it sounds like a bad idea all around... maybe i'll just leave it in the ski and find somethin else.

Street bike engine is probably going to be the easiest, except for another atv engine.
