Does anyone know if or how one can disable a warriors rev limitor? I know its part of the CDI setup but thats about all I know.

Thanks

The CDI has a programmed timing curve is all.
The Warrior has a pretty good curve, so you dont really have a problem there. What are you trying to achieve???
More RPM`s? If so look to a cam and head work...

Well.. I ride a YZ 250WR and my friend rides a 87 warrior, on the RR beds, he says that in 6th top end he can feel the bike rev up and then rev down.. up and down.. and so on and so forth... N E ways, Im lookin to get a warrior myself but dont want to go through the rev ups and downs that he goes through. To me that would be very annoying.

thanks

Tei

It sounds like your friend has an issue that is not related to the rev limiter. Reving up and down in 6th gear is not normal. Perhaps his clutch is slipping or something like that?

In wide open throtle in 6th, would you feel the rpm's drop once they hit peak? if so... when they drop due to the limitor, would they continue to rise till it peaks again?? Or does the limitor not let it get that high?

Thanks

Tei

What is a YZ250 WR? Is this some sort of cross between a YZ and a WR?

Just kidding.
