leak on new fmf pipe?
#1
I just installed a fatty pipe on a blaster and where it mounts to the motor there is a leak. A flange mounts to the motor and then the pipe slips on the flange. That is where it is leaking. I had to really pull on the pipe to slip on the flange. Anyone had this problem, can anyone help?

Man ask anyone who has a FMF system on their blaster and they will tell you the exact same thing. It's be doing it to me for years now, in the exact same spot. It's because when FMF designs their pipes they don't make it fit tight enough about the flange and then when the exhaust comes out the port some can escape. Some things that I have tried are using some exhaust cement around the flange and then sliding the pipe over top, or if you can find some high heat gasket maker you might be able to put some around to stop the leak.
It's a real pain in the ***, I know. It gets exhaust all over the front of the cylinder and then dirt and **** sticks to it, making it look real dirty.
