How many discs?

How many discs would I run on a FMF megamax II, if I realy want to spin my 589's in thick mud.

How many discs?

Somewhere between 7-9 is a good match with power and noise.

I run the MegaMax only on my utes and 250EX, so I tune for low end power. Plus I run in the national forest, so sound is a big issue! I run 8 discs and the quiet core.
