I was looking into getting a Terry Cable Thumb Throttle. What is your recommendation? Good ? Bad? Ok?

I haven't ever seen one, but I hear they're nothing special. What is your reason to buy one? The thumbsaver2 worked good for me, once I got that carb the throttle was pretty stiff for long rides.

Well Basically... I was looking to get ride of the twist and try the thumb throttle and I was just looking for a OEM replacement and thought thier might be a better product on the market. I have enjoyed the twist but I have had some really close calls. I do some hard riding and lots of jumps and I have never used a thumb throttle so I wanted to see if this would help me out.

A simple OEM one would probably do, but they might be overpriced as well since just about everything OEM is a rip off. A friend of mine used the twist on his z but had many close calls as well, they are great but dangerous on tight trails. I remember finding him in some pine trees off the trail (on the ground though!) from accidently twisting on it and launching over the berm on a 150-180deg turn. lol I checked out alba for you to look at the price for the OEM materials, was actually around 70 or so. If you look at #2 on the list it's the whole throttle assy. By the way nice job restoring that 250, nice paint job!
