rad or reed?

what the hell is the difference between a rad valve and a reed valve?

I think they're the same thing. they both take reeds

isnt like the reed just the reed itslef, then the RAD is the reed and the cage it comes in?

It's all in the name... Both are the same thing, just different companies market their products differently

Rad is just Boyesens name for a reed valve. I don't know what you are using it for, but V-force make the best reed cages for most bikes.
