i dont know which one wil make more power, but i would go with the stroker, cuz if something happens at least u can bore it out instead of puting a new motor

I would save the few extra bucks for the stroker kit. That will give you more torque than the bore. When you get the stroker kit they will usually bore it out also, so it's a good idea to make sure they don't bore it too much. Thinner walls in the cylinder can get hazardous with extreme bores.

The stroker kit would give you more bang for your buck but youd have to rebuild your engine fast. The storker kits tear them up so fast. There was a kid on here that stroked his 300 and a few weeks later it wouldnt start. Id prob. bore it out and get a cam or something like taht. And make sure you get it ported really good to, a bore kit without proper porting is preety much pointless.

Thanks everyone for all of you support......i read in Dirt wheels(not that they no everthing) the same thing that shonner said but wasnt sure if that was just because the person didnt know what they were doing when they put it in. So i think im going to get a bore kit from http://www.maxpower-engines.com/atv-bb-yamaha.htm which will make it a 480. Then im going to put on a HMF exhaust. So when i get the bore, they will Port and Polish it for me?

stroke always gives more power. In more cases then not stroking a motor will increase motor life because it deduces rod angle and slows piston speed.
