Go to www.powerprs.com and have them build you an exhaust. They build many of the name brand exhausts out there.

From what I know and tried you can cut any pipe and re weld it to fit any area as long as you dont change the volume area in the fat part . The neck that comes off the exhaust port changes distances you are trying to run. On my drag sled we lengthen or shorten the neck for different distances( builds power low end short power big end long). Maybe that will help.

basically buy a pipe for that motor and cut it to fit your application.

I'd really be careful doing this.... only a 5mm change in length made a huge difference when I was tinkering with building my own handmade pipe..

In a two stroke, pipe tuning has a huge influence in how they run..

My $.02

I put a ZR 580 motor in my golf cart and had to cut the pipes to make it fit. Like I said do not change the volume. We cut it up a bunch and actually redirected it out the back. Runs great no performance problems not that you would notice being you cant open it up!

Keep in mind that every cut makes the volume a little bit smaller... 10-15 cuts can make a pretty significant difference.

This is a good topic, since I have toyed with the idea of puting a LT500R of Banshee motor in my Tecate (I would want inframe pipes not drag pipes). Does anyone know any good custom oneoff pipe builders near Michigan?
