want to build a quad with kx 500 what frame to use
#1
I have access to a couple choice frames and a i have an 89 kx500 engine that still kicks over on the second try. so i was thinking it would get more uses in a quad. what frame would br the best to handle the beast and easiest to build. Resources are not an issue in this project.

Vibration would be less of an issue with the Tecate 3 as the frame design is similar to the bike. The quad is a whole other ballgame.
Vibration kills/cracks frames, and causes many other issues.
If this motor were counterbalanced it wouldn't be an issue.
I've been this route with the Hondas (CR500)... they run great, but can't keep them together... even with rubber motor mounts.
