Newbe here.I am thinking of getting an alien exhaust system for my 05' 300ex.I can't find a decibal rating for this system.Could someone tell me how loud these are?I don't want something that is going to be annoying to others that I ride with.

 

Alien= ALL Noise no gain. my friend got one for his 400ex. biggest waste ever. its SOOOOOOO lound with minimal performace gain. he switched to HMF and its night and day difference and the HMF sounds soooo much better. and its cheeper.

 

thanks,I found dmc's website but it doens't say anything about the noise level.I se they have an insert to bring the sound level down,but using it would probably defeat the purpose of the muffler to begin with.So far FMF is one of the few that list decibel rating for their exhausts'.

 

get the hmf much much much much much much much much much did i mention much better than the alien exhaust

 

wow if the other people u ride wit get annoyed by loud pipes u need 2 find new people 2 ride wit theres nuttin wrong with noise ,but if u dont take my advise go with one of those quitcore fmf pipes they suck but thats the price ya pay if ya wana be a hippie no personol offense ..........,.,.,.,. get a white bros carbon fiber pro pipe n by da way alian pipes sucks

 

I don't think anyone I ride with would be bothered.One of them has an older DG pipe on his quad.I road behind him for most of the way on a ride.His pipe was so loud I couldn't hear mine to know when to shift.I just didn't want to be annoying like him.His wasn't even "cool" sounding loud,just plain ol loud.

 

check out a Supertrapp IDS 2 they're adjustable for quite or loud and differnet power bands...i think they are a great pipe

 

yea they are loudish not really but it does had hp

if you can tell me were to get a 330 or 390 kit
