Hi everyone.
Yesterday, I saw a guy on his bone stock banshee and he could wheelie all day long (until he met trees...joking), anyways, he just needed to smash the throttle and the front end went right to the sky. I can't do that! I have 22" rear tires and suspect the previous owner not to have changed gearing (sprockets) after changing tires.
That's why I'd like to know the size of stock tires(mostly diameter) and stock front and rear sprockets.
I'll figure what mods I have to do.

The 87-88 Banshees had 13-42 stock gearing. All years after came with 14-41. I would go with a 13 front with 22in. tires.

Even with 22" tires you should be able to wheelie pretty easy, at least in first gear. I can pull a wheelie pretty easy in second gear with all stock gearing and tires and I suck at wheelies. My Banshee is stock. I would recommend a 13t front sprocked with 22" tires.

I found out why I couldn't wheelie. Where I live is lots of hard sand, and it just doesn't have enough grip. I tried on a field with nice dirt, and I made some wheelies, quite easily actually.
I'm proud of myself, I can wheelie! haha
