You guys made it hard now...so many choices
Bansheesmoker- where do you find all the info and measurements for fitting the motor in the 250R frame?? or did you do it all yourself?, thats my biggest concern, I would like everything aligned and balanced in a frame. I need more info on swapping motors in different frames. Are there any web-sites I can go to for this??

XR650 motor is fun to play with and wipe out a few along the way with what Honda should of built yrs.ago and is still afraid to build to date, too bad for them, losing millions in sales.

I couldnt agree with that any more than that..so true. Honda needs to step up to the plate with the latest technology and make a profound impact in the bigbore world. I have seen the XR 650 hybrid quad in action and trust me, it is very impressive. Just ask me

I vote for the 250R. IMO they are more comfortable to ride, and they may not have quite the power but they're not far behind. There are also tons of upgrades and parts for them out there. The problem with putting a cr 500 motor in your quad, is it would vibrate horribly. Quad engines have counter-balancers, whereas bike motors don't.
