My buddy is looking into a new exhaust for his 02' DS-650 Baja, what is the best ds-650 exhaust going, slip-on or complete system. What would you buy if money was not a issue?

In my opinion, The Ron Woods pipe is still the best "full" pipe you can buy. They got it right the first time.

For a slip on, I think most guys like the HMF series pipes.

Bigger.

The Top Gun from HP Research is a pretty new pipe in itself. I dont think we have heard enough of rider reviews to draw a clear distinction from the rest. But, Im sure it will be in the top tier...JMO!

on the full pipe rwr is still the way to go , as for the in-frame drag style pipe, not sure, theres a Ron woods that i have heard great things about and the top gun by hpr ( which ALWAYS makes great stuff) or u can just say f-it,, and get the top of line for power and get the ugly stick drag pipe by HPR and be done with it. it produces the most power overall to date...

I have the Big Gun full exhaust. It works great. A little loud, but they have the quiet inserts if that is a problem in your riding area. Mr hp rates it as the best all around power (besides the full drag pipe) on his web site.

It all depends on the kind of riding he does. The ugly stick is a drag only and will get tore off if ridden in a crowd or trails. As far as it being the best, that's yet to be proven!!! No dyno shoot out yet , but it's comming.

Figure out what style of riding he does and get the best for that. Match up his parts .
