Default What are reed cages

i only have 4-strokes and was just wondering what reed cages are i no ther for 2-strokes and thats it

Default What are reed cages

Very basically, reeds are a unit that is located between the carb and the engine that allows air/fuel mixture to only one way---into the engine, but not back out.

Default What are reed cages

Basically, they have the same function as intake valves on a 4 stroke.
