any one know if removing plastic funnel from inside reed cage will help or hurt performance? if removed will there be more fuel waiting to get sucked in, or will it make some kind of turblance and hurt the flow? 400 2-stroke.

The reed stuffer is just that, a stuffer, it fills the "dead" space that can be in your reed cage to help with air velocity thru there. I don't recommend pulling it out. You could stand to lose some low to mid range snap and unless all you do is drag race you won't see much gain on top by removing it.

I got my v-force yesterday. I dont like how you have to chop up the manifold!! It makes me very nervous. But if they work as well as everyone says I guess its worth it!.
