Default 2-stroke big bore kit

Hey guys whats up? If im going to install a .020 over big bore kit on an 85' Lt250r, do I need to buy a new sleeve to? or does the new piston just fit right into the stock sleeve? I've have no expirience with big bore kits so I'm need some help here, because wiseco sells most of their kits w/o a new sleeve or cylinder. Thanks.

you have to have the cylinder bored to the size of the piston . so take the jug to the local or send it to me with the piston and i will bore it for $45, porting for that cylinder would be $175

No, I don't even have an Lt250r, but I'm looking into buying 2 of them as a package deal, but before I buy them I want to check out all the parts I need and see if they are affordable, and i would probably be putting new sleeves in both of them. I work on engines all the time, I just have never installed a bigbore kit on an ATV. I also ordered one of those LA sleeve magazines with all of their suzuki items. Thanks.

.020 isnt a big bore kit. Its not even an extra mm in diameter. it is just an "oversized" piston.

I have a 92 lt 250r that I have redone head to toe, All the motor work was done at DNS here in omaha, and then I have added Different reeds and a 39 airstriker carb. can you think of any other thing that I can do? I play around with the jets here and then, But Iam not the best at that. The motor has been ported and polished with the head mill down, so I have to use race gas. I think it was bored one sized bigger than stock. Any ideas would be great.
