Default WHat exactly do shock covers do?
just there for looks or to protec the shocks or....

Default WHat exactly do shock covers do?
They keep the shock body clean and lessen the chance you'll get dirt and water inside, prolonging the shocks life. But they also rub the paint right off the springs.

But, when you are in mud/dirty water, they also keep the crud in! I ride desert, so I don't care.........

I've run them on my quads and they have done a good job keeping them clean, which will prolong the life like Maddog said.

well, i guess you can say that have thier pros and cons which can equal them out to say they are just for show/little protection

I don't like them, if you ride hard the shock covers may help to over heat the shock!
