I recently broke my clutch cable and was looking at the 'dominator' cables. I really didnt brake the old cable it just like frayed bad at the ball on the lever. This is the 2nd cable it has done it too and i think the perch/lever might be bad and cutting it. I can grab the lever and move it up and down like an inch...so i guess its pretty worn out. I think im going to get a new Pro Perch/Lever set from Golden West Cycle...they say that this perch is better because it has sealed bearings in it or somethen..and it doesnt rely on the bolt on the lever as a pin bearing. Now my question is...are the dominator cables better or not? they cost $20 and i could almost get two cheaper ones for that. They say on the adds they are better because the out casing of the cable is wrapped lengthwise, causing it to not have a 'spongy' feeling. And, Does anyone have the Pro Perch/lever set from GWC and how do they like it? Thanx
