Tecate 3 Wheeler Buy? or not?
#1
Not sure where to post this. I have never owned a three wheeler nor really wanted to but I was doing a job at a guys house the other day and he has a tecate 3 wheeler in excellent shape. I could probably get it for about 500 dollars. I was wondering what they are worth? If it that price it would be worth picking up even if I just decided to sell it later. Im going back to the house tomorrow to finish some work and am trying to decide whether to do it or not.

I know this is too late by now. . but i hope that you picked up the Tecate if you could really get it for $500. My buddy has an 88 Tecate4 that has alwasy been a good bike though he went thru it all and built the motor. Supposedly that bike came out with more hp than the 250r did that year.

I did get the three wheeler for 500 dollars. I cleaned out the carb. Put in a new plug and some fresh gas. Started first kick. Havent really ridden it much other then on the street in front of my house. Very strong motor though. Pulling wheelies in the first four gears and thats as fast as I have gone so far. Have a trip comin up in a couple more weeks. Get to do some serious ridin then

If anyone else in the Arizona area wants one of these, my bro in law is selling his. Right around $1k but it's been built up a bit in the motor. Is running like 15:1 compression and some other mods. About as fast as a good Banshee. It's a 3 wheeler Tecate. I've got pix somewhere online I think...
Hey, here's a picture

It's the green machine. It has an extended swing arm on it now. Not sure if it was in that picture.
