Default 416 Bore

I just bored my stock 400ex out to a 416 and put a hotcams stage 2 cam in it. I have adjusted the valves when piston was at top dead center to the spacing specs provided by hotcams (.005 intake and .006 exhaust) and I still notice a little ticking when idleing. Does an aftermarket cam make more noise or is something wrong?

Thanks

The cam cam will be alittle louder than a stock one. If it is a tick you should be fine. If it is a tap or knock you need to find it. The tick should be drowned out by revving the quad. If you hear the noise over the revving engine, its probably bad.
