Lectron carbs
#2
Pro's -- They really work well when they're jetted correctly, and they are pretty easy to jet -- once you know how!
Con's -- They are VERY different from "regular" carbs, and it can take awhile to get a decent understanding of how to jet them. You may need a handful of needles to get it jetted in right.
We've run 'em on older dirt bikes and had pretty good luck in most cases. Sometimes we never did get 'em jetted in right, but that can be true of any carb!
As far as size goes, it depends on what other mods are done to the bike and what type of riding you're doing.
In most cases, unless you've done a ton of mods, an aftermarket carb won't really give you a big h.p. increase (actually can reduce h.p. in lots of cases!).
