Hey guys i am new to this forum, and just as new to the Polaris versions of ATV. I recently picked up a couple of Pol scramblers and one has a pooched engine. In the spirit of bigger is better (and i want this one faster than my wife's) I was wondering the best approach to power? It's a 1995 Scrambler 400 4x4 and so far I can't find a big bore kit for any machines older than '97. Any suggestions are appreciated, but for reference I have looked at the AAEN site and plan on Picking up their race pipe, 42mm carb, and reed kits.

I dont think you will see as much of a hp gain from a big bore piston, as you would a good port job. Plus the BB pistons are like $180 a piece
Try Ritter Cycle Racing (Rick Ritter) he post on here quite a bit, over on the polaris forum.
Give him a call, he will answer the phone, and steer you in the right direction. 618-644-3211 I think youll find RCR and HPD are better than aaen for the 400s

my bike is up and running again all i need to do is get it jetted in and i will be good to go.
i am in the process of getting a swingarm also and some different tires for the asphalt racing next year.
