MiD Range Warrior
#1
What could i pu on my 1996 Warrior to give me big boost in MID range? I dont want any more low end. I would rather have alot of MID and a little top than a lot of MID and a little low.

I'd probably start with a different muffler -- I agree, the Supertrapp is the best for most applications. Then a mild cam would give you more midrange and a little better top-end. The only down side is that it will take away a little bit of torque. Not a problem, unless you're running big tires and mudding the bike.
Make sure the cam you're buying is a MILD one. The Warrior responds pretty abruptly to high lift cams.
Powroll and White Brothers both list mild Warrior cams. The White Brothers cam has to run Heavy Duty springs, the Powroll cam can be run with stock valve springs.
After that, you can run a vented airbox lid. Make sure to rejet!
You'll get about a 15 - 20% horsepower gain, mainly midrange and top end.
