Funny how I get dragged into things As for my motor, I sent it to Charlie for a 3mm Stroke and port job. After a long wait I recieved and installed the motor and it did blow after a few hundred yards. It was due to a small metal part that should not have been there(looked similar to a master link, but wasn't). I have showed the part to people and everone says "thats not a honda part", so who knows where it came from. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT that Charlie intentionally put it in there. I guess I have seen Ohton's motor's in action, if that Banshee with the scantly clad gal at Oldsmobile Hill is Ohton's. Since the mishap, I installed a Wiseco Replacement crank and used my old cylinder (after a bore) that Charlie changed the port timing on after CT Racing ported it and it runs very strong! I will be adding a CT Racing 350 Power Valve cylinder soon, anyone interested in a Stroked 3mm crank/Cylinder as a set?

I didn't mean to cause such a fuss here, I'm just looking for a reputable guy to mildly port my Banshee and I was looking for responses from people that have already had their Banshees ported. I stumbled across the Ohton Racing website and it looked like they knew what they were doing, that's why I posted this topic here. Sorry to open that can of worms Mr.Ohton, don't hold it against me..........

Mike--
I'm interested in the crank alone... $$$??? I've got a good crank with a worn rod and a new Hot Rod long rod in a box, perhaps we could work out a swap of some sorts.

I looked at the photos at sandbros, the piece to me looks like the end of a Stanley folding razor knife. How wide is the larger piece??? It would be the end that is held in the knife body itself. It would have to be around .4 to .5" wide if it where what my Junior Sherlock skills lead me to believe.

I would like to make just a GENERAL statement here, that if a guy has just one motor blow b/c of a foreign object, and he writes it ALL off then that would be in my opinion still a VERY good race shop. It would be tough to eat over a grand on something that possibly was not EVEN related to the work performed. Now...if there were numerous people posting that they've had this and that go wrong, kind of like all the stink awhile back about Last Rebel, then yes...Houston we've got a problem....

I am the girl with the red & white Banshee. (And yes, those are OHTON RACING stickers on my bike.) I was referred to Charlie by a friend who does a lot of racing. He told me Charlie's bikes are very fast and that he would do a great job for me. He was right!!!
Charlie Ohton is very knowledgeable about building fast bikes. I have learned something new from him everytime I have spoke to him. I have taken his advice 100% about my banshee.
Charlie modified my bike just before Thanksgiving Weekend. I had a blast racing and the bike runs great!!! I would definitly recommend anyone go with Ohton Racing!

hmm thats odd, blue_banshee
I have been racing in the A.S.D.A for 3 years using the same bike, I went to Yuma Sand Drags December 2,3 2000 and Won First Place in the Pro ATV Class I am also the person that Won First Place in Rocky Pointe May 5,6 2000 in two seperate events. I am also the person that ROB is talking about, (and by the way whats up ROB?) I have done all this on the same reliable 350 engine that Charlie Ohton Built. Ya know, unless you have had a very bad personal experience with someone you shouldn't judge them by what you hear. I really thought your remarks were out of line and reference to what was asked. So you have a great day blue_banshee.
