I am thinking about having Ohton Racing port my 2000 Banshee. Does anybody have any experience with them. I would like to hear about some of their work from some of their customers before I go tearing my brand new Banshee apart. Thanx for any and all responses.

Charlie Ohton hasn't done any work for me only because I haven't needed any lately. He will be doing the next repair or upgrade I don't have the experience to handle.

I can tell you that he has given me some excellent advice via e-mail. He is always quick to respond and accurate to correctly diagnose the problem. His knowledge and willingness to help out is why I will go to him.

I live in the same city as Charlie. I can tell you he has a very good reputation locally. I have seen many of his Banshee's during the sand drags in Rocky Pointe, Mexico. They not only look fantatsic, but take home the biggest trophies. That says it all in my book!

Charlie Ohton gets a "strongly recommend" from me!

Good luck!

I live in Chandler Az. and own a Roll Design complete race bike with an Ohton Racing built 330 I professionally motocross race, and am currently the fastest in the state.Nine out of ten times I pull the holeshot at every race by several bike lengths, I definately have a horsepower advantage over my competitors. I also own a 99 Banshee that was also built by Ohton Racing, I had no problem with alot of the other Banshees Thanksgiving weekend at Oldmobile Hill, I even beat some of the wild looking stroked out bikes, nobody believed that all was done to my bike was a port job and some head work. I would definately go with Ohton Racing.

I have a atv business and Charlie does all of my porting. He is very professional and does a top rate job. I have talked to him on several occasions and there is alot to learn from him he is very knowledgeable on how to build a fast atv. I would highly recommend his work and I totally trust him to do my customers stuff. His porting and engine building is very competitive with anybody out there.

hmm thats odd, i have a buddy i met in the chat room an wow his name happens to be mike lyon, with one of ohton's motors, it blew up just a couple feet from where he started, and i believe it did it a few more times afterwards. ohton's stuff seems not to hold up quite well, and aout the chic on the red/white shee, how do u expect anyone toread that sticker on the gas tank that supposedly says "ohton racing" , i need the hubble space telescope to check that out@!!!!!

btw, no offense to anyoe of u, including mr ohton himself

Bluebanshee:

I don't want to challenge anything you say since I always find your input to be a great help...but...this time I cannot agree with you.

1. I recognized the Ohton Racing sticker immediately. This might be because only the fastest bikes at the Rocky Pointe Sand Drags have it on their Banshees and those are the ones I look at the most. I noticed the "babe" second.

2. I don't know how well you know this "buddy" on the Chat Room that allegedly had his Ohton Racing motor blow up, but I can tell you..I have met many a people, face to face, that are sitting on an Ohton Racing Banshee as I spoke to them. I have yet to hear one negative comment about Charlie's engine building abilities. I have seen his Banshees at work in the drags and they are awesome!

I saw both of these face to face, personally and with my own eyes. This beats a conversation with an unknown "buddy" in a chat room everytime. Remember, we are talking about somebody who makes his living based upon his reputation. I need personal experience before I can make those types of judgements!

Check Mate, I win!

Charlie Ohton is the best!
