I use "Son of a Gun" by STP. It comes in a yellow bottle and is sold everywhere car care products are. Its fairly cheap and does a good job.

I have never found anything that works worth a dang execpt for STP Son of a gun. I spray it on and leave it over night and wipe it of the next day. It works very well.

I use Plexus. It is made for goggles and doesn't leave any static. It takes off all the dirt real good and leaves a nice shine. It comes in a small blue aerosal can. I think it is like $7.00.

Blue, After I wipe it down the next day
there is no greasy film left. That is my
experiance using that product. Yes U can
find it anywhere. I have even seen it at
grocery stores, and yes it is liquid.

Try one of those "No touch" tire care products. Works on all surfaces. Plastic or metal, removes the dirt leaving a nice "sheen". I especially like it on the underside for all those crevices.

I know STP Son of a gun in the yellow bottle is the best tire cleaner to use on the fenders to make them shine but has anyone used a wax that you rub on to maybe make it last alittle longer. I have red fenders on the Scrambler 500 and where my knees grip the plastic it started to fade real bad. That is why I am wondering about an actual wax not tire cleaner. I use the STP stuff all of the time, it's very good. Any ideas??

Steve
