Sure, and being fuel injected you won't need to rejet. But, the tradeoff is that when you get into the wet and mud, you will have to be carefull not to splash up high enough that you get water in the airbox! On the Raptor you could have two lids, one that is open for dry days and one that is closed for wet rides..........

I really like the EHS Racing airbox lid that has an Outerwears cover or those 1" round UNI airbox vents, vs just drilling holes.

You can cut out several holes and then add the UNI vents to the holes. Tehy sell the at Rocky mountian atv site. they have little filters to help keep stuff out. I just put them in the lid so if you know you going around alot of water or mud you can just replace the lid with out the vents.

At times I have run with a drilled lid, and then exchanged it with a solid lid for a particularly nasty river crossing, the put the drilled lid back on and ride on.

I've ran with my lid off but I couldnt tell any improvement.I think if you had alot of mods you might need to open up the airbox but otherwise I really havent been able to tell a difference.Have any of you guys been able to tell any improvement?
