Anodizing Parts instead of Polishing??
#1
Hi,
I just found out my friends dad can get me any part I give him anodized for free.
Would it work if I gave him my cylinders and 1 sidecase, and had them done silver? How would it look, like a polished motor? Would it make it run hotter ect.? Any problems with doing this and the heat of the motor?

Hey H300;
I just had my wheels, bumpers and nerfs anadized blue and they showed me the silver and it is silver not at all chrome looking. To get a real good finish, the part should be polished wheel fine grit steelwool, which would give you close to the look you are looking for anyway.
Good luck
