I have an stock 89 blaster that runs really strong, (will beat slightly modified, pipes silencers blasters in drag race, in the dunes) and am looking for a pipe that will increase power down low and in the midrange without sacrificing my killer top end. Any suggestions and experiences will be appreciated. I am thinking of Trinity's torque model and maybe CT's midrange pipe. Also does anyone have experiences with Vito's Performance Piston Kit for Blaster?

I have a couplke of question's.What is already done to your blaster? And why is it so fast?I don't see how you are running a stock pipe and silencer and beating piped blasters.I don't know.

Have you top end rebuilt if it hasn't been done lately.Have low-mid porting performed.I had my cylinder bored .025,pro-x piston, top end gaskets,low-mid porting and a new uni filter for about 130.00.

get a ram valve and reed spacer

Pro circuit has a good pipe that helps boost low-mid porting.FMF's pipe is more of a mid-top.

Jet correctly

If you like your top end performance I wouldn't change sprocket sizes.

Hope I helped

My blaster is stock. It has stock bore stroke and porting. Thing is Yamaha says that the porting on the 88, 89 models were different, they produced more power everywhere but especially on top. I also have dual stage reeds.

I would suggest Trinity's Pipe and Silencer. Trinity Racing is fully devoted to The Blaster and have done extensive research using just about every pipe available. They have developed their pipe to specifically increase the power of the Yamaha Blaster.. I don't personally own a Trinity Pipe, but I've rode a Blaster with one and boy, What a difference. It's truly amazing. I think is might solve your bottom end problem.
