I just installed the new AC pro peg nerf bars on my 400EX and they are a big improvement over the previous version. These have removable lazer cut steel foot pegs 2-1/4 in by 9-1/4 in with the outboard end turned up similar to DG but these pegs are much bigger in both directions. The size is very similar to IMS-Roll pegs but with no polish and no interior bars. The previous version had welded on aluminum pegs that would get dull and require sharpening. What I really like is the flat portion behind the pegs is now open with only the 2-way webbng for no mud retention. The aluminum heel guards are wide and perfect height. I always did like the nice shape of the fat 1-1/4 bars which is all unchanged. This version is actually cheaper than version with flat aluminum plate behind pegs. List price is $269. less whatever discount you can negotiate. Fit up was very easy after I loosened front motor mount bolts to give a little more clearance. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give these a 9-1/2. The only way these could be improved a little IMO would be if they came with a version of the IMS-Roll polished stainless steel pegs. But as is I think this idea is much better than the seperate pegs, heel guard, and nerf from IMS-Roll and a lot cheaper.

AC?? as in Arctic cat? i got arctic cat nerfs and i find them so weak. if i bounce on one side they move so much, i rolled my quad on its side once and it bent the sht out of the neft bar, the damn thing rammed right into my subframe and put a nice mark in it.
