Default Wolverine 435 questions

Hows it going? I have a 01 wolverine, right now it just has an hmf pipe, the torque stuffer, and jet kit. I have just started racing hairscrambles and GNCC. Everyone in the utility class has the big kawasakis or can ams. I dont have the money to go out and buy a new machine and i really like having the wolverine, small and light. So i was wondering how you guys think i would do against these guys with the 435 kit done. And how much it costs to have FST do it. I took second in my first race, but the track was tight and there were no open areas where i would get burned by the bigger bikes. I just want that extra get up and go. Thanks

Its been a while since I talked to Fourstroke Tech, but I think they stopped doing the 435 kit and only do the 446 now, there wasn't that much difference in bore, so they trimmed down the options, just like they stopped having the 500 kit. I imagine 446 cc's with the light weight of Wolverine should give you a nice power boost out of the corners and the open areas. Price wise, your looking at about 1400 bucks if you send in the motor and they do all the work, the kit runs about 695, but then you have to have the boring and sleeving done, and do all the engine work yourself. Check out their web site, at www.fourstroketech.net
