Junk that thing...I did it on my wifes quad, and now run YamalubeR 40:1
Very easy One 8 ounce bottle to 5 Gals of fuel. It doesnt smoke as much and plugs last alot longer. I replaced the ring after 1 1/2 years like that, and the cyl and piston looked great.

When you pull the injector pump, you have to pull the clutch cover and remove the platic driver gear. Leave the drive shaft in to plug the hole. A friend of mine just pulled the pump off and it fried the shaft seal because the shaft was spinning. Possibly the injector oil helps lube that seal. I have been running my wifes with the shaft sitting in there for a few years and have had no problems.
I am talking about 1988 Blasters, I assume the newer ones are the same design on the injector pump. There are snap rings that hold the shaft in place. Or, you could waste $20 or so and buy the block off plate kit advertised in the mags.
I have been running Yamalube2 32:1, and it seems to be a little heavy. (Smokes a lot) Just don't let somebody else put gas in it for you!
