does anyone else have an LRD pipe. It is quite a bite cheaper and was wondering how the power and sound is compared to the Big Gun and WB.

lrd is the best pipe you can get and because it not from some huge manufactuar it's a lot cheaper. Its the best you can get, all the rest are either bs, or a rip off.

Oh really. Do you have such one sided opinions like this about other aftermarket parts as well? From someone who makes themselves out to be so wise and knowledgeable on this subject we would all love to hear.

Ok guys. I finally took the plunge and went with the LRD exhaust system. I also sprung for chrome. The system has recently increased in price and now costs $365 with chroming. I should have it soon and I'll post my opinions and experiences when I get it and start experimenting.

The mags need to do a massive shootout with the 4-stroke pipes with power readings and sound. thats would help us all

Lightninn, I would really appreciate it if you would let us know about your new pipe as soon as you can because I also am waiting one an LRD, but my mechanic is supposed to get it for me at a discounted price. He will be a dealer for LRD any day now. I would like to decline from my order through my mechanic if you don't like it.

Is the LRD pipe tunable (like the series e) or non-tunable (like the FMF)? Also, has any tried the new Stroker SX-1?

The LRD 400EX pipe is not adjustable. It's not a disc type system like Supertrapp and Curtis Sparks' systems. It does however, perform well with stock tuned engines (only jet increase). And the guys at LRD tell me it gets better with more engine mods like a cam, piston, carb., port work, etc. Right now I'm going to start with a high volume air filter (Uni), Dynojet jet kit, LRD exhaust system, and a Wiseco piston kit. When money permits, I'll go with a different cam and all the head work that goes along with it. I learned something recently I didn't realise at first. I was gung-ho about a port and polish job. I thought the engine would transform into some beast once I did this. Well the stock head actually is able to flow more air (cfm) than the stock carb can supply. So guess what? You can upgrade the stock carb to a 39mm Keihn for about $225 which is cheaper than a port job anyway! Go figure!

I'll be sure and tell all when I get this stuff in and installed. What's the policy about pics in the forums? I don't wanna go breaking any rules!!
