worth modding a Warrior
#1
I am thinking about modding my 99 warrior?
I saw a 400cc kit in the december dirtwheels and it looked pretty sweet. I would also go with +2 A-arms and new shocks, wheels , tires, maybe a swingarm, nerfs, bumper. But I was thinking that my other option is to just get a banshee DS650, or 400ex. I know my warrior could be a pretty sweet machine but I want some feedback on weather or not everyone else would stick with the warrior.

You are going to have to drop alot of dough into a warrior engine to get even close, powerwise, to a stock Banshee or a DS650. But remember with a Banshee you have an endless amout of engine mods, so you will never attain the engine performance of a Banshee with a Warrior, no matter what you do to it. By the other mods you mentioned, it sounds like you are going to be doing some MX racing. Those mods will need to be done to any quad that you get if you plan to be a competitive racer. Well unless you have $15000 to blow on a Rebel Star or Husaberg. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
