Buy a Duncan Racing Pyramid Valve. A lot better than the rest.

I find my Boeysen Rad Valve works just as well as everything else. I use the O2A Rad Valve with a 38mm Air Striker carb. (No spacer.) (The O2A is set up for the CR250.)

Save your money. I have used the Rad Valve, the V-Force Delta 2 and Boyesen Power Reeds on the stock blocks. I raced my Brother in law who has the identical modifications as myself except I had the V-Force reeds. Killed him out of the hole but he would breeze by me in 6th gear. This performance characteristic was confirmed to me by Stuart Toomey of Toomey U.S.A.. He told me that all of their dynos indicated that the Boyesen power reeds on the stock block resulted in the best overall performance when compared to the Boyesen Rad Valve.

If you strictly want low and mid range performance, go with the Delta 2 V-Force.

RAD valves are NOT designed for setups like a Banshee has. They are made for setups where the reed cage and carb are not perfectly in line with the intake(like on a 250R). They are made to compensate for the angled intake and to keep an even flow of fuel and air without dead spots.
