Has any one installed the toomy T5 hush kit? I'm going on a trip for New Years and I need spark arresters. Where I ride now I don't need them. Or what kind of spark arresters should I get that won't choke my exhale?

i havent but i have heard that the hush kit makes it quieter and it DOES increase top end because of mor back pressure created...sounds true but i havent used one, dont need one around where i always ride...i would use the hush kit for the toomeys...if i had to

You know I was thinking the same thing! More back pressure would probably create a little broader band. I have noticed time and again that open stinger pipes are more peaky than silenced pipes. To a point, back pressure is good, but you dont want to much. I would try it above all other brands, especially since you have toomey's

I see the T-5 silencers all the time, Living in Oregon, you just about have to have some sort of extra silencer, and they seem to work pretty damn good. They are quiet, and I've never heard anyone complain about any power loss.
